Pier into the latest developments at Budapest International Airport with Zoeftig
Construction at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport’s Pier 2B started in January 2017 and the new facility has come a long way since, with the recent installation of pver 1,000 of Zoeftig’s popular inFINITE seating solutions.
As part of the €160 million development project, called BUD 2020, the new 220m long pier will increase the passenger area of Terminal 2B by more than 10,000m². Due to be completed by the second half of 2018, it’s expected that the new terminal facility will also enhance the airport's capacity by six million passengers per annum.
With the main infrastructure complete, attention is now focused on the inside finishes and when looking for a durable and stylish seating solution to compliment the design of the building, project managers turned to Zoeftig.
