Zona is flexible, good-looking and easy to put together. There are very few components and sub-assemblies (beam, seat, arm and leg) and this idea of simplicity and strength recurs throughout the seat’s life.
Its legs include a unique and clever self-levelling design which means no lifting is required (eliminating health and safety risks) and, if they do need to be moved, a single-operator trolley is available to simplify the task.
Whether you need continuous rows, back-to-back arrangements, bench seating, seat-and-table modules of two to seven units, or corner units configured through 90 degrees, Zona’s designed with versatility in mind.
You might need free-standing or floor-mounted beams, a finish to suit your budget or raised-height seating and arm-rests to accommodate users with disabilities (these seats can be colour highlighted or marked with logo identification).
Cleaning is simple and doesn’t require any specialist products or expertise, and Zona’s removable upholstery pads can be finished in pvc, fabric or leather. (If required, upholstery and paint can include and antimicrobial and antibacterial additive.) Not surprisingly, given its diversity of applications, the Zona can be used in many different ways, and the finishes available offer great choice across every budget without any compromise on quality.
The seats, backs and benches are available, fully upholstered, in vinyl, leather and pvc, as well as in polyurethane (PU). This material, while mouldable in almost any colour, is very durable and tough but extremely comfortable, too, thanks to its unique bi-foam construction. (We can customise the system over and above these combinations, too, should you need it.) Zona keeps its looks despite the heavy use for which it was designed and made; its modular nature makes maintenance simple.
Assembly of its few component parts is straightforward, and it has all the hallmarks of a Zoeftig product, being constructed with the highest standards of workmanship, the most rigorous attention to detail and a flawless quality of finish - whatever the material - to ensure an excellent return on investment.
All Zoeftig products are subject to rigorous strength-testing, and Zona comes with a certificate to prove it can withstand the greatest wear and tear, being tested to EN12727 Test level 4 severe contract use and ANSI/BIFMA X5.4- 2005. Zona’s open leg design (as well as a minimal footprint and slim design) means that floor cleaning is not hindered; it also means excellent sight-lines beneath the seats and along the floors for security staff. And, with cleaning in mind, we’ve even deliberately created full-width upholstery to ensure Zona’s free of any small ledges in which dust can collect.
Zona’s sleek seat and back upholstery forms are practical, good-looking, and designed with responsible ergonomics firmly in mind, while being attractive to both the tired body and the discerning eye.
The system caters for the body’s many and various shapes, and, by using the best-quality foams and maintaining the trademark Zoeftig focus on great design meticulously finished, we’ve created upholstery far more comfortable than might be imagined from a superficial glance at its crisp, slick-looking profile.
All of this, allied to Zoeftig’s clever and unique bi-foam polyurethane construction (as tough as it is comfortable and soft), which makes the Zona particularly well suited to the needs of major stop-over terminals, and to any buildings in which many people are obliged to wait.
